On the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, seven warriors from Solapur achieved a remarkable feat by continuously wielding the traditional Dandpatta (Gauntlet-Sword) for 19 hours 19 minutes and 19 seconds as a tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The record-breaking performance took place from 5:00 AM on 18 February 2025 to 12:30 AM on 19 February 2025. The skilled participants—Aadinath Vishwanath Khaderao, Suyash Yamanaji Huche, Arman Akhtar Patel, Shlok Arjun Koli, Pratosh Santosh Aland, Darshan Ajit Rajoba, and Coach Ashwin Kadlaskar—exhibited extraordinary endurance and dedication. This record highlights the rich Maratha warrior legacy, recognized by Unicorn Book of World Records, was accomplished under the banners of Bharatiya Lathi Maha Sangh and Traditional Dandpatta Sports Association Maharashtra, at Char Hutatma Putala Chowk, Solapur, Maharashtra, India.
